Hi, I’m Vincent — a Rust software engineer with a past life in finance and a lifelong need to understand how things work under the surface.

I spent over a decade working with Microsoft Dynamics and continue to advise on alternative investments, before switching gears completely to systems programming. Today, I work with Rust because it’s modern, powerful, and uncompromising — just like the kind of software I want to build. I care about clean code, real-time systems, and cryptography that actually solves problems.

But my journey isn’t just technical. I’m self-taught in everything that matters most to me — from product architecture to language learning — and I thrive when I’m building something that has structure, meaning, and impact.

Outside of work, movement is my reset button. Whether I’m skipping rope on a rooftop or walking for hours in a new city, it’s how I recharge, reflect, and think clearly. Nature helps me slow down. Big skies, mountain air, and the sound of the ocean — that’s where the best ideas come from.

I’ve lived and worked from France, Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, Austria. I travel light, live simply, and structure my life around learning, freedom, and creation.

I believe we’re all works in progress — and growth only happens when we challenge ourselves. I’m always looking for ways to sharpen my thinking and push my limits. That’s why I spend my spare time building side projects, diving into Rust crates, reading about architecture and cryptography, or connecting with others on the same path.

🌿 Where I Recharge

Everyone needs a creative outlet — without one, we’d probably lose our minds. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outside in nature, soaking in the landscapes, spending time with friends, or exploring new corners of the world. Simple things, but deeply meaningful to me.
